This exceptional antique Edwardian negligee pendant is a masterful example of early 20th-century craftsmanship, beautifully handcrafted in platinum topped 18k yellow gold. Dating to the 1910s, the elegant openwork design features delicate flowing lines adorned with fourteen shimmering old mine cut diamonds totaling approximately 2.60 carats, graded VS2 to SI1 clarity and HI color. Intricate milgrain details and graceful movement showcase the refined artistry that defines the Edwardian era. The asymmetrical negligee design is highlighted by two distinctive drops: one terminating in a luminous 9.5 mm Akoya cultured pearl and the other featuring a remarkable 5.71 carat ruby cabochon, creating a striking balance of color and movement. Additional cabochon ruby accents crown the upper portion of the pendant, adding richness and visual interest to the design.
