18K Gold Antinois Vertumnus Cameo Pin Brooch ca.1870

This exquisite and rare 18K Yellow Gold Shell Cameo Pin Brooch depicts Antinois Vertumnus encircled in a wreath of grape vines and textured leaves.  This beautiful piece dates to the late 1800's and features a tube hinge, extended pin stem, hook closure and bottom hook to hang a pendant.  Pin brooch measures approximately 2 1/4" long by 2" wide and projects 5/8".  Retail value $3,500.00 (M#180-03094)
