Victorian Shell Cameo Seed Pearl Pin Brooch 14K Gold

Fantastic Victorian 14K yellow gold shell cameo with seed pearls depicts a Roman Centurion soldier in profile.  The helmet of the Centurion is adorned with a carving of Pegasus.  This lovely circa 1890's shell cameo measures 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and weighs 9.4 grams.  Retail value $1500.00  (sc#180-02954)
